Yesterday we had a little get together to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

It’s hard to believe it has been that long – of course, all the usual jokes about time in prison and long service leave have been made…

Looking back I can hardly believe the time has flown by so quickly. It’s weird really, because sometimes it feels like 10 years, sometimes it feels like only yesterday.

When I think of all we have done together and all that we have been through – it’s pretty amazing and I guess that’s what lends itself to that level of comfort we have with each other. The level of comfort that allows you to burp in front of the other, have stinky feet and be ok about it, not shave for days on end, to wear your baggy clothes, to say something nasty and forgive them for it straight away. The level of comfort gives you someone to snuggle up with at night, no matter where you are and just feel like you’re at home…

PS. I still feel guilty for not getting around to see everyone and give them the time they deserve!
